Philoxenia Charities demonstrates love for our "neighbor" which is a pillar of our Orthodox Christian Faith, and hospitality that is representative of our heritage. We offer free, temporary housing to indivisulas and families visitng the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN in need of shelter, spiritual healing and/or comfort.

The mission of Meals On Wheels Chicago, is to insure that seniors & individuals with disabilites benefit from nutritious meal progrmas that improve their quality of life and maximize independence. As an oranization, MoWC is committed to meeting the need presented and continues to raise private funds necessary to widen the safety net that protects the city's most vulnerable indivisuals. We are always gratefully accepting donations of time, treasure & talent.

Northern Illinois Food Bank, a proud member of Feeding America, is the source of nutritious food, innovative feeding programs, and hope for more than 71,500 people each week. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a goal of solving hunger in our 13-county service area, we rely on our generous donors, volunteers, and community partners – the local food pantries and feeding programs, food manufacturers and retailers, companies, foundations and individuals who join with us in our vision for no one to be hungry in Northern Illinois.

Animal House Shelter is a non-profit, 501(c)3, no kill shelter that rescues, rehabilitates and adopts out all breeds of dogs and cats. Like people, animals have distinct personalities that make them unique. At Animal House Shelter, we are proud to say that the dogs and cats are treated like our own. We care enough to be certain they are treated with the comfort and respect that they deserve and we make every effort to ensure that they go to the right, forever, permanent, loving home.
